2022 tax SEASON filing options available

Tax season doesn't have to be stressful or overwhelming. At Brown Business Services, we want the process to be as smooth as possible. Help us give you the best service possible by being prepared for your tax preparation. We have laid out the filing options available below to ensure that we're able to prepare your taxes as quickly and efficiently as possible. We ask that you please follow the instructions below in preparation for the upcoming season for the 2 tax filing options available depending on if you need an initial appointment before tax preparation begins or do not require one.

Tax Filing Options

OPTION 1: I'd Like to get My taxes done, but don't need AN appointment first:

Step 1. Review the Tax Preparation Checklist to see a list of items which you may need to provide for tax preparation.

Step 2: Use the Online Tax Organizer Tool to review the Client Engagement Letter for tax preparation services. This tool will also guide you in securely uploading your documents required for preparation of your tax return.

Step 3. Pay initial deposit for services.

Step 4. Request download of our mobile tax app. Once downloaded, the app can be used to receive updates on your tax preparation. and communicate with your preparer. Use of the tax app is optional.

Step 5. Following your tax preparation, you will receive follow-up contact from your preparer to review your completed return and pay your balance tax preparation fee online.

Step 6 Sign final forms by e-signature giving us permission to file your return. We cannot file your return until both you and your spouse/partner listed on the return have signed.

OPTION 2: I'D LIKE TO GET MY TAXES DONE, BUT would like TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FIRST:

Step 1. Review the Tax Preparation Checklist to see a list of items which you may need to provide for tax preparation.

Step 2: Use the Online Tax Organizer Tool to review the Client Engagement Letter for tax preparation services. This tool will also guide you in securely uploading your documents required for preparation of your tax return. may need to provide for your unique tax situation.

Step 3. Pay initial deposit for services. Following your deposit payment you will receive a consultation scheduler link to book an appointment with your tax professional.

Step 4. Request download of our mobile tax app. Once downloaded, the app can be used to receive updates on your tax preparation. and communicate with your preparer. Use of the tax app is optional.

Step 5. Following your tax preparation, you will receive follow-up contact from your preparer to review your completed return and pay your balance tax preparation fee online.
